Question: why is the MMA stuff so expensive?
( Back )
Answer #1:
Affliction/silver star/dethrone/tapout all use high quality material for their t shirts. The method is printing on shirts also costs more tuan your normal t shirt. They're 40 bucks a piece online, but if you look around locally at a marshalls/tj maxx/Ross you can find shirts for a lot cheaperAnswer #2:
Captialism - they get what people will pay.Answer #3:
It is essentially like NFL jerseys (not the knock-off NFL jerseys with no names on them) in the fact that MMA is a sport driven by celebirty-like personalities now, therefore people will buy what those celebrities are endorsing.. it won't necessarily be thier number or jersey, but if Randy Couture comes out wearing Xtreme Couture it will be in demand and people will pay a high price to look like douchebag.I liken it to Under Armor, all the sudden Under Armor became a big name in NFL gear and now it is everywhere and not cheap. The NFL celebrities are seen working out or walking around in it and then everyone had to go buy it.
Answer #4:
they are more expensive because they are seen now as a name brand. With MMA expanding each day their brands are becoming more of a household name thus they can increase prices to earn more profit. Its like jerseys for sports teams and stuff like that.Answer #5:
Well they are expensive in stores. Here you can find great MMA shirts from $20 to $30. Tapout, Throwdown, Bad Boy, Warrior, etc.www.myspace.com/mmafightgear
Answer #6:
